HUMBERTO FIERRO Humberto Fierro (Quito, June 17, 1890 - Quito, 1929) 1 was an Ecuadorian poet belonging to the so-called Generation decapitated, composed by several poets of the early twentieth century. Son of a wealthy family made up of Mr. Enrique Fierro Rosero and Mrs. Amalia Jarrín Zapata. He acquired careful education and in the properties of his parents, in Quito and in Miraflores in Cayambe, as a teenager he devoted a lot of time to reading his favorite authors and poets.
